Student Games

During my time at The Game Assembly I have so far participated in 7 bigger student game projects and 2 smaller side projects. During the first year the student game projects were all made in 2D in a school-provided engine, whereas during the second year they were made in 3D in an engine made by the programmers in my team.

APHELION is a 3D first person shooter. Guided by the voice of an AI you must traverse an abandoned science facility infested with shape shifting creatures! Made in 10 weeks of working half time.

  • Models and textures for various environment props
  • Menus

SPITE Ohtili's Ascension is a 3D top down action RPG. Become Ohtili the Cheiftain of the Moon Clan, kill the monsters that have invaded your land and ascend the temple to claim your revenge! Made in 10 weeks of working half time.

  • Concepts for the boss
  • Concepts, models and textures for various environment props
  • Menus and UI

Old Puffer is a mobile 2D puzzle platformer . The game was made in a team of four for the The Game Assembly/ King Game Jam 2019 between 17:00 on Friday to 11:00 on Sunday between the 25-27th of January.

SWARM is a 3D space shooter. Defend your world from an invasion of it's sworn enemy, a swarm of robotic insects! Made in 10 weeks of working half time.

  • Menus and UI
  • Intro and outro cutscenes

Boss Bros is a 3D boss rush dungeon crawler. It was a side project I woked on with Oliver Nyholm after my first year on The Game Assembly.

My main contributions:

  • Concepts, models, textures, rig and animations for the player character

A Weapon Odyssey is a top down 2D action adventure. After crashing on a desolate alien planet you have to explore it's mysterious ruins and save your husband from a terrible curse! Made in 8 weeks of working half time.

  • Animations for the bosses
  • Animations for bullets and explosions

  • Co-writing story and dialogue

The Fairy Escape is a 2D platformer. After having part of your fairy wings stolen by an evil wizard you can now only dash through the air in short bursts when trying to escape the wizard's lair! Made in 8 weeks of working half time.

Project Parry is a 2D shoot em' up. Play as a robotic taxi driver tasked with escorting a mysterious passenger by parrying your way through enemy fire! Made in 8 weeks of working half time.

  • Dialogue and UI assets
  • Editing story and dialgoue

Spacescape Conundrum is a 2D point and click adventure. You wake up on a malfunctioning space station and must solve puzzles in order to escape before it's too late! Made in 8 weeks of working half time.
